Gennesaret Free Clinics Gets CBE Help for 2020
CBE members know to gather those extra and unused personal care products when travelling! Individuals cleaned their cabinets and many took boxes to the workplace, home parishes, and neighborhoods to collect. Over $700 was also collected to aid in Gennesaret’s beautiful mission of serving the mind, body, and spirit of Indy’s homeless. Gennesaret provides wellness, dental, and medical support for those with limited or no options for important health services.

Merry Christmas 2019 Catholic Charities From CBE Members
At the December 2019 meeting members and guests helped Catholic Charities stock its Christmas Store. Donations of 38 toys, seven sets of new bedding added to more than $750 collected. Clients in the Indianapolis area are brought in to gather some gifts to help make Christmas brighter for their children.
Late Summer 2019 Food Drive for St. Vincent de Paul
CBE members and guests celebrated the 15th anniversary of CBE by helping out St. Vincent de Paul. Over 450 pounds of food and generous cash donations totalling over $1,000 helped fight hunger in Indianapolis. CBE and Women’s Care Center
CBE members and guests donated graciously to help Women’s Care Center and their beautiful ministry of helping expectant and new mothers! Director and CBE member Jenny Hubbard took stacks of cash and diapers back to the clinic. Nearly $1,700 was donated along with 1,300 diapers and 4,800 wipes. Thanks for making this annual drive purposefully timed to honor Blessed Mary in May a success!
CBE Helps Gennesaret Continue To Serve Indy’s Homeless
For the second year, CBE Members and guests responded to the call to collect hotel and sample size toiletries. This year many members brought boxes to the workplace and other organizations and asked others to clean their cabinets! Cash and checks filled the container as well. Thanks to the following:

CBE Members Help Catholic Charities Make Christmas Better for Many
CBE members and guests at the December 2018 meeting filled the donation table with requested gifts and cash donations. Over $1,200.00 and many dolls and gifts of bedding helped make the blessed holiday brighter for those in need.

CBE Supports Catholic Charities, a ministry of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis!
Blankets and backpacks were the requested need of Catholic Charities Indianapolis. They asked for help with some specific needs for their Christmas store. Over 25 backpacks, a stack of new blankets, and cash of about $900 helped their clients have a better Christmas. Summer Food Drive for St. Vincent de Paul Gathers Thy Bounty
CBE members and guests donated generously at the August 2017 meeting to support St. Vincent de Paul and their year round ministry to help those in need. Many food and fund drives coincide with the giving spirit inspired by Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, the cupboards can run bare well into the year when supplies dwindle but the demand never slows. Over 1,200 pounds of food and over $1,400.00 were collected! On June 3, 2017 a team of sixteen CBE members helped restore the beautiful trails. The group worked as lumberjack and jills and cleared trees and debris left on the path by rough weather. CBE coordinator for the project, Allice Steppe, reports that it was hard work but all enjoyed the comaraderie and providing great assistance for this treasure in our archdiocese..

At our May, 19 2017 meeting CBE members and guests donated over 4,500 baby wipes and over 1,000 diapers. Also, $645 was donated by attendees to further help Women’s Care Center in their mission.
Annual Toys For Tots Collection
CBE members came to the December 2016 meeting with donations of toys and cash for Toys for Tots. This is a project administered by the U.S. Marines and CBE has helped them for the last few years.
